Maybe it's because I've gotten alittle older but I get bothered by just seeing a header on a bike.  Or just that with an exhaust tip.  In full disclosure I run just head pipes on my first cb360 but learned, back pressure is a thing

The brake bar cross over the swing arm seems to be an emerging trend.
That was one seriously understated paint job.  But I kinda like that.

It was a good show this year but maybe not the most innovative (in terms of the bikes shown).  I did get to meet with some great builders and tradesmen. 

I tip my hat to those in the Pacific Northwest who actually ride in 30 degree weather with rain.  Not my cup of tea.

I grew up just outside Portland... my riding days were few and far between...

It would be amazing if I ever got an invite to a show up there once my bike is done.  I'd love to get back home and have the opportunity to show it to my fam in person.  Maybe in 12 years when I'm done with my build  :P

I think you might also need to show a high level of innovation and fabrication to qualify.

Can't say I lust any in that top five but, the Walt Siegl bikes are stunning as usual. I had the opportunity to check one out a couple months ago in Toronto, super cool.

The cafe thing has run its course, been around a long time.
 What I do not like about the XT Merkel is, its mostly just a Merkel replica, not much thought has to go into making a copy..
 The knuckle has very pleasing lines for the most part..and a plethora of trick handmade parts, and no borrowed modern stuff.
 Enclosed is a pic of a knuckle being built locally, the rider has a prosthetic leg, so it will have a foot operated clutch..

Cristian Soza's knuckle was truly a sight to behold.  The sheet metal, forged parts and linkages were all impressive.  Nice guy, too.
