Jag, what was it, it is gone.  Sometimes better to grab copy of photo and description... saves the "gem" for later...

The good thing is the CBs have been less desirable for cafe bikes, newer and other bikes seeing it and tasts are changing to other styles.  5 years and cafe will be even less desirable by many and prices for many will be in cdllar like the custom chopper.  Not as bad, especially if frame is uncut.
I like the SOHC Hondas, and DOHC in std config or the adventure sport touring.  Wouldn't kick a Ducatti scrambler out of the garage, some others??

I hope the SOHC/4 don't continue to fall victim to the saw when they are well preserved canvus for restoration or resto-mod.  It will have the affect of making very nice originals price go up as the bikes age.

Rare bird someone recognized and snapped up...might see it pop up as new member's bike.
I sold a cb550F/cb550k3-k4 tank on ebay several months ago that went to a buyer who was some shop in LA area and they were typical cut up a bike and tank, etc "cafe" sometimes but, more of brat and tracker builder given their website.  They had taken some nice bikes which were good to great condition originals and hacked them up.  I know you can't save them all but the originals are will be worth a lot more in a few years, if not already.

Tank I sold had old Kreem liner and needed repaint because of chips, but a good tank.
Given K's lack of compatibility with an F or  '77-'78 K it would require more changes than I would like, even given I had much of what I needed.
I have no issue with resto mods and prefer them to be reversible but if the bike is a major rebuild needed, then I don't have issue with it.
i had some guilty feelings knowing it would be going to some group that didn't hesistate to put the grinder or cutoff tool/saw to the frame, tanks, etc. But, I needed the money worse than my feelings would have prevented.

OK I'll fess up. I bought them all. Well, 12 at least. But it's not my fault, they were cheap.
