CB750 Crankshaft changes through different models
« on: February 13, 2017, 03:27:15 PM »
Would like to know if there were any variations regarding crankshafts installed in CB750 engines from KO to K6 models. I have a couple of crankshafts they have a couple of different casting marks also one of them has a series of numbers on the front flange not stamped but looks like the dark numbering they put on the conrods.
Cannot find any information regarding this, but I am sure someone will know  :)

The very first 2** had a smaller alternator bolt. Then there wasca difference in the way the balls were held in , some screwed some staked. The balls seal the drilling holes for the oil passages.
So basically cranks interchange, as long as its not from the automatic.
