Got the oil tank finished today. Still need to polish the stainless steel and make mounting tabs.

That looks really good!

If you heat that up with propane, you can hit with a loose knot stainless brush in your grinder and polish it clean. Use a stainless toothbrush and hit your welds immmediately after welding and they come clean so much easier (when hot). Follow up with a ScothBrite disc, and she'll be mirrored up in no time!

Hey that looks pretty good. You might want to think about installing a sight glass to be able to check the oil level without having to open the tank.

I welded on the rearset mounts..Some adjustment and linkage sorting still to do. Still just mocking things up to see how they fit before I strip it right down and powdercoat the frame and a lot of parts.

Got the frame kit in.
Now trying to figure out how to mount that seat pan. Originally I was thinking about covering the whole thing in leather but am considering just a seat pad in leather and painting the sides and cowl. Does ABS plastic paint up ok?

I thing that will work, but the placement of the seat mounts will force you to snake wiring, etc. underneath. Obviously, make sure to not place connectors underneath the cross-member/mount so that you don't have any access issues for repair/maintenance.

Good advice. Thanks. The Motogadget should fit perfectly and be accessible in that larger opening towards the rear of the E-box.

Personally, I'm not having a problem with the use of a round tube on the 750 swingarm. I think trying to use the larger box tubing from another 750 swingarm would have been "Way Over, Overkill".

This is my last mockup before paint and powder coating. Satin Black frame and something black and silver for the tank and cowl. My question is, what about the rear brake stay arm? Black may be too many black bars back there so I was thinking silver stay arm and all calipers?? Ideas?

Your front end is silver so I would say Silver swingarm, Black brake brake stay & calipers.

I hadn't considered that but it makes sense! I usually see the swingarm the same colour as the frame..
The only other thing to consider could be an accent colour somewhere. The 'Honda' tank badge is gold and so is the chain and fittings for the oil tank sight gauge (good suggestion Cafe Racer Fan) but all of that could be changed. Would a slight accent on the calipers break up the black a bit?

I could see the calipers gold.
You could also have the hardware plated gold zinc for a nice accent.

The foot pegs were going to be too low so I moved them up. The old top mount for the rear sets is now the bottom mount.
Finished the licence plate mount, regulator/rectifier mount studs on rear of battery box, and squared off the rear hoop for LED light bar.

The ABS should paint fine, but you need to use an adhesion promoter for plastic parts.
