Local Honda dealer put together a rather nice interpretation of the Dick Mann Daytona classic. NZ legend Graeme Crosby had one of his KZ street fighter series on display. mmmmm I might have to start saving!!!

That's one of the better interpretations of the new CB1100Fs to date.  It looks much better as a CR750-inspired bike.

Well so ends the journey of the father son build. Has it been worth it ? Next year No 1 son is doing a pre vocational course in mechanical engineering. Yeah it's been worth it. Thankyou to all for help and advice. Now it's time to ride these beasts.

Yeah im with you Cal. who in their right mind would allow someone to wear a Lorenzo replica helmet !!! Youth of today have no taste :-) all good tho. Only time allowed on bike like that is stationary. full leathers and armour when we go out amongst the crazies.

Just because I'm nosey, but you did use some kind of restriction in your oil lines?

yes definately. the restrictors are 1mm from speedflow who supplied all the fittings and lines. these were placed into the 2 lines straight after the T joiner. whole conversion went well with only a small leak on one of the banjo bolts into the head. this was rectified easily with a bit of honda bond.

Not sure what you're using but copper washers are better than aluminum here.

took the time today to get the bike on the dyno. It was really close with the cr carbies as supplied from godfreys. Had to lift the needle 1 notch and a little bit of playing with the screws. Really happy with the result. The bike is really singing and a pleasure to ride. Loving it
