Looks like he's no Monkeyclaw type, and he sports a nice group there.
If you're near by, I'd certainly check him out for your 750 needs. Bone up on pricing and ask ask ask questions before so you don't fall for any shenanigans.
Warranties expressed or implied? Year motor...miles if known...recent rebuild...etc.

Hopefully the guys here will toss some numbers out regarding pricing, as I have no clue what the value is for a rebuilt motor, or just a flat out ballpark price for a "known good motor".

This is always tough when you have no known references...hey...maybe ask for two references, and actually call them if he's the garage mechanic who flips bikes, he should have no problem with that request.
He does have some nice looking stuff there.

Troy is an affluent area so there's a good chance he's paying someone to do his work. How's the beer in Kalamazoo treating you?

Guys seems to know his stuff, says he was a Honda mechanic when our machines were new. He has sent pics of his shop so I doubt anyone else is doing the work.

Regarding the beer, West Michigan is the best in the nation for premium beer of all types, for all palates.

I have talked with him a few times. Dealing on a exhaust with him now. He sounds like a "stand-up" guy to me. I think he is legit. IMO.

I spent a day/night bar/brewery hopping in Kalamazoo last fall. It was a hell of a night to say the least lol. Great town, lots of culture

Thanks guys. Your feedback is helpful. I also reached out for references per Mr. Mike's suggestion and was able to talk with two guys that gave strong recommendations for the seller. I am planning to move forward on the purchase of the motor.

Best beer brewed in the U.S. comes from there. Dragon's Milk, New Holland Brewery. Anything from Founder's in Grand Rapids is A1 also. Especially Rübaeus in the summer.

What will really knock your socks off is when the put Rübaeus on Nitro. It takes smooth to a whole new level!

Founders KBS and Perrin No Rules will be available soon  ;D
Personally I think the Perrin is better than KBS, and it's little easier to find

Dark Horse's Scotty Karate if you're into Scotch Ales.  They did a few reality show episodes on the History Channel there.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.
