where's that 750?

back at the time i was reading about this battle in Classic Bike magazine, but never paid attention to who built Gary's bike... any ideas?
second question of course: where is it now? :)

Looks like it was restored by "friend" of the forum, M3 racing and sold for a nice sum. Scroll down a few bikes.

That first Harley for sale has CB750 front brakes.......mounted ahead and behind the forks depending on the pics. ;D

Seems like a very attractive price.............but then again, it had a very short history with #9 and only when he was retired. Mark McGrew was in the pits at Road America for the AHRMA races in 2014. We had a discussion about my Bonneville land-speed project and he confirmed that he had sold the Adam Popp racer to someone 'across the pond'. Mark told me my head/cam and carb combo would not flow.............hmmmmm ;D ;D ;D

There was more than one bike. One of his is/was in the Barber museum.

I was told by Mark that George Barber commissioned him to build it as a true replica of the Dick Mann bike.

You would think that when you build bikes that. Command that kind of money, you could pay your bills or refund if you dont complete the work.
