Identify these gauges
« on: February 24, 2017, 05:06:17 PM »
Found some gauges in my bin, think they might be cb500 four although one may be cb450t twin. Anyway tell me what they are:

The top ones have a plastic housing, something I've not seen on a Honda before.

The top ones are the same as my 1971 CB450 DOHC twin had.
The tacho looks like an early CB500 Four item.
The other set may be from a CB500 DOHC twin?

Early 350 had 10,500 redline.. Not sure about 450.
My cammed 350 would probably rev to where it says Seiki on that guage.
I may need one soon.

the bottom set is a 1970 CB450 twin set. 1968-1970 are the only years the speedo was on the right hand side of the bike and I did own a 1970 cb450 parts bike so these are probably from that.

I think the top set is CL350 from about 1969 or so. The bracket is an early mounting bracket but the redline on the tach looks to be from about 1971. I may have to take it apart for the part numbers. not sure though.

still have no idea about the middle one.
