Honda Emblem on gas tank

The Honda emblem on the right side of my gas tank has the forward pin coming out and is only held on by the rear pin. Can anyone tell me how to re attach it to the tank so it doesn't come completely off?

You probably need a new what is called a 'nut emblem cap" #27 on a parts fiche at around $3.50. Its an insert that goes into the tank strap and holds the badge pin.

Remove the emblem carefully and check if the clamp nut is in place. If no, replace it.
87311-634-600 Is the part number.
