Hello Folks, Lizzy here,I'm a newbie!
« on: December 10, 2006, 08:25:36 AM »
:) Hya folks,  HELLO TO YOU ALL!   Just introducing myself, I am new to these forums, but admit to "peeping around a bit" as a hidden guest! and have gained some quite usefull info.
I thought it was about time to do the right thing and join, so here I am!
I hail from sunny Wales UK, thats actually a joke, it isn't sunny, and inland at least; there aren't ANY Wales at all.It was probably named after folk waling over the rain and driving wind.
Oh, if you are stuck, i can probably help you locate elusive books, (Thats what I do!) or should be able to "point you in the right direction" at the least.
Thats all for now.

Don't listen to those Americans. You need to hook up with the "UK Chapter". PM me or Jim Shea your contact details and we'll add you to the mailing list. We don't get to Wales very much (but you never know)

feeling like smurfette yet?

i think the women here enjoy the ratio, as it rarely results in misogyny.

Good thing. If it did, and were universal, none of us would be here.  ;D

And welcome. I second the pic of your bike.

Yes I'm sure you are. Jim Shea is the custodian.

I'm writing this in Waitrose coffee shop on my Xda PDA - it's strange when you can only see 160x160 pixels, not to mention GPRS download speeds.

my guess is that- being a librarian- she has more reading material than this forum and probably doesnt check back like the rest of us who would be considered mildly illiterate if not for all the reading and writing we do here.

Hi 'Lizzy-the-Librarian'.

Ah....happy memories of my first serious motorcycle adventures, from home (north of London), to Angle Bay, west of Pembroke, on the '72 CB175. Anyone who says that you cannot do serious riding on a 'small' bike hasn't tried.

I think you folks are talking to a dark room.  :) Lizzy hasn't been back since her first post on 12/10. OK, which one of you offended her?  ;D
