eBay Exhaust - For SOHC?
« on: February 28, 2017, 12:55:39 PM »
I was thinking of these for my 76K build, but does anyone know if they'll fit or who made them... Frank???

The seller has no other information. I checked.

Don't buy them... if they'll fit, they're mine! If you do, I know where you live! And cheap shipping to Canada!  :o

Just a quick comparison of the flanges and angles (and I'm no exhaust expert), but I'd venture to say it won't fit.

$100? You get what you pay for...

Yup, when you're right...

I've got the Delkevic SS on another SOHC... a terrific option. I'm looking for something very "cheap" for a new sort of rat build with my 836 pistons. A sleeper, of sorts... I hope, if it ever runs.

Here's the Delkevic on my other '76K. Highly recommended.

+1 for Delkevic if you want something good looking and inexpensive.

and also +1 for Hindle if you want Canadian-made and VERY high quality.

The one thing that makes them look like they may have been made for a Honda 750 is the fact the mount on the pipe looks like a slip over spigot mount that would work on the 70-76K bikes. No brackets though for mounting off the passenger pegs. Looks like thin wall cheap pipe. Be a gamble.

+1

I've bought 5+ Hindle systems from Kemp now and it's nothing but high quality and great service EVERY time.

Looks like 750 but cheaply made..and plain looking......... I would look for a good 4-1 for an 836 motor.
