Topic: will 1982 cb650 carbs work on the 82 nighthawk? (650sc)

Hi everyone,
I'm needing to buy a new carb set for my 1982 Nighthawk 650sc.  I found a set on ebay, but they were taken from an 82 cb650 so not the nighthawk.  My nighthawk has removable slow jets where I believe the regular cb650 has them pressed. The seller is stating that the carb set will work on either bike- is this true or will I be running into problems?

If they are 82's the will be screw in.     81 was press in

Thanks cb650. So since they're both screw in- the carbs on the 82 650 and 650sc (nighthawk) are interchangeable?

yes    81 will work to but has a press in idle jet.

That's good to know as there seems to be a lot of 81 carb sets out there, but the 82's seem to be pretty hard to find. And more expensive!
