Vintage Dirtbikes : Suzuki RM 465 1982
« on: March 01, 2017, 07:46:11 AM »
Suzuki RM 465 from 1982 . Lots of power , 51 horsepowers , aircooled twostroke engine and with drumbrakes in rear and front makes it fast but hard to stop ! My vintage dirtbike that i bought in 2008 and now will sell on to a "fan" of vintage dirtbikes that will restore it and give it a new "life" ... The fact that is street legal and registrated as a enduro race bike makes it a bit rare ! Anyhow my time as a dirtbike rider is over so it feels ok now to sell it and spend the money on my other bikes and builds . Thought i should share some pics of it before it goes away !

Later on i bought 2 more Suzuki RM 465 1982 to have as spareparts bikes . Me and my son used to drive together when he was into dirtbikes for a couple of years and it was lot of fun . He had a Suzuki RM 125 from 1996 . The piston is quite impresive on a 500 cc open class ... Some more pictures for you !

Good old bikes they were.  Suzuki was the bike to ride for the world class motocross racers. Joel Robert back in the day only won 3 or so championships....Larry
