I've got a Yamaha 250 4 wheeler and I'm going to adjust the valves sometime. Anyone know the clearance spec's? It's a sohc, real similar to a Honda, I'm thinking .002 or .003 would be real close.

Its bigger than that, all four wheelers run hot as there is a lot more weight to lug around.
I don't know exact spec but its probably closer to 0.004" intake and 0.010" exhaust ( its what Suzuki uses on 250/400 single cyl)
The motor is closer to the old XT250 trail bike.
