Need a picture - 4 in 4 exhaust routing
« on: March 01, 2017, 11:35:00 AM »
I have a favor to ask.  Does anyone have a good shot of the 4 in 4 pipe routing on the left side of a CB550K?

Seems like my sidestand spring is getting in the way of the #1 cylinder pipe.

My bike had a 4 in 1 on it when I bought it and they did quite a bit of mods to the left side.  They drilled the passenger footpeg mount and put a cotter pin through it  ??? - presumably to prevent the bolt from wiggling loose.  So I am not certain there are other mods which might be making this outer pipe not fit properly.

I don't, I have to manufacture them since the originals were tossed out when the 4 in 1 was put on.

But, if you mean which type - single bracket, both pipes bolt to it.  Appropriate to a '77.
