Got a little behind on this project. Had to replace the intakes and float bowl gaskets on my blue / green KO which was a 2013 project. As long as the carbs were off I cleaned them again. Out came the Morgan carbtune to dial it in. Now back to this current 69KO - got the vents, fuel line and air box back on. Next comes connecting my auxiliary tank and firing this up.

When you sell this bike keep in mind a 1969 CB750 just sold on eBay for $148,000, yes you read that right $148,000.  Advertised as one of 4 pre-production bikes sent over from Japan.

Good to hear.

Blasted hot up there this summer?   I wish I had your heat.  There have been 40 days this year here that it's gone to 100 degrees.

Monumental day today...installed the battery & auxiliary tank for the first test run since the bike was last licensed in 1979. Started up amazingly fast. Got out the Morgan and did the carb sync and she idles smooth. Still need to clean the blue/green wrinkle tank, but used my spare for the test ride. She runs and shifts smooth through the gears. Never a miss or hesitation from 0 to a smooth run at 70. The speedo read 11,999 and I had the privilege to take this beauty over the 12,000 mile mark. With those few miles she should run the way I expected it would...HONDA smooth. I have videos of the start up, but never have luck posting those here. Today was a GOOD DAY!

Good on you ;) ;) ;)   Hint........FWIW...I've had good luck storing bikes for a year on 110 race-gas...........near empty fill to half-tank and ride a few miles to get mix in carbs............starts right up after 12 months.

Packing to get back on the road in 2 weeks...........

Johnie, I'm trying to order a Morgan Carbtune however the site keeps blocking my purchase. Did you have to email them to have it shipped here?

No, I went through the normal ordering, but I got mine 10 years ago. Maybe some others will chime in on if the site works for them.

Hey Johnie...is there a small hole in the top of the tank near the latch?  If yes, what was done?

No hole Stev-o...it's an optical conclusion :)  It is the bracket that holds the thumb latch. No leaks. In fact, I could hear the vent trying to breath once I got the gas inside. I had to clear the cap vent and install the new gas cap seal.

Great looking bike. Excuse the ignorance, but what is the reservoir under the right cover - oil/gearbox cooler?
