1978 750K jet needle size, colour?
« on: March 05, 2017, 11:02:21 AM »
As I mentioned in another thread, I'm trying to swap all the metal bits back to stock in the carbs, and...I'm actually not sure if I swapped out the jet needles and passages. The ones on there now are brass coloured and labelled "D313", and I THINK they're from a rebuild kit. The ones I have with the old parts, that I THINK are from the original are labelled "15A" and are silver coloured. Which is the original?

My carbs are PD A-1 keyhole type 1977 cb750 the new ones were brass and the old ones are silver in my case , I can't check the #'s as I'm away from home but I'd bet they are the same.

yes the OEM ones are silver.  There aren't any aftermarket silver ones that I know of.  And 15A sounds right.
