Whoops, edited the picture.  I didn't like the HRC sticker so it had to go!

could be because of the effed up seat... but, it could be that orange flake doesn't really get my blood pumpin.

nice work!

Great looking bike !

Actually makes me wanna go with the natural headerwrap on the new project
rather than the black..

What size front tire you got on their - looks more "meatier" than stock..

Thanks everyone for the nice words!  The front tire is a 110/90/19 so it is a little wider than the stock tire.  I have since put the "K" dash and guage bracket on it along with the frame mount ignition.  I have also since put a black and white checkered stipe on it along with knee pads.  I just recently bought a cafe seat for it, which I am going to recover before putting on the bike.  I will post some pics after the seat is on!

Looks good...
about wrapping the pipes though.. It just doesn't appeal to me.
maybe if they were fishnet stockings ... that'd be interesting.

Someone along the way put the orange tank on it.  The rear fairing was still the original dark red.  Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand the Orange was '75 only.

I believe you are correct about the 75. What was the original color of the 76? I seem to think it was blue.

Waaaaaaaay of topic.  This is for a member of this forum whom I did a pretty crappy thing to (you know who you are). I am getting very close to losing a member of my family who I an very close to.  This in turn brought back very hard to deal with memories of losing my father.  On top of this, I have had some really big things going on with my son that I have had to take care of.  Because of these things, I have kind of been neglecting some really close friends and turning my back on them.  Now, I'm not trying to justify my actions, just letting you know why certain things have happened.

A little to much mushiness from the new guy?  OKAY, BACK ON TOPIC!

The bars do hurt if I ride for a long period of time however, when I get the cafe seat installed that should take care of it since I will be sitting alot lower on the bike.

The other color for 76 was indeed blue.

Dunno Dave a shout out or at least a thank you would have been appropriate under the circumstances.

lookin good! I've seen bikes with the wrap all the way and think it looks great. How does it affect heat buildup?

I think I trully do feel a difference!  The heat that isn't constantly being shoved back onto the motor is now exiting the exhaust!  I did it mostly because I think it looks good!
