Total Newbie in Springfield, IL
« on: March 17, 2017, 09:45:56 AM »
Hey everybody! I'm Chris, about 8 years ago my dad and I picked a 1975 Honda CB750 F Super sport that had been sitting under a tarp in the middle of the woods for 22 years! The bike was in pretty good shape, but the motor was absolutely locked up. We decided to do a total rebuild on it... we stripped the bike to frame. I tracked down the original title holder to the bike and he happened to still have it! I bought it for $95 and to this day that is all I have invested in this bike.. now.. I'm a long way from being done with it but I've run into a few problems. I'm not trained or very knowledgeable on motorcycle engines but I can turn wrenches with the best of themy once I know what I'm doing.. and my dad now isn't in the best health to give me a hand anymore. I just want to finish the bike and get it running again. It was our father/daughter project and I know it'd make him super happy to hear her purr.. I'm hoping I can take the knowledge of all of you and get this thing completed. Anyway, it's nice to meet all of you and I look forward to getting this thing up and running!

Oh, and I currently ride a 2003 Kawasaki Mean Streak 1500!!
