It's like Strava for motorcycling. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of trip reports from this group.

Using GPS to get somewhere on the first try is one thing, but I ride to stay unplugged, I think most of us do.

I don't disagree.  But if I had something that showed me all the places id ridden, it could help me see where to go next.
I can see myself having this on in the background to look at later, and apply to a larger map.
If a SOHC4 group was started on this, and any going to the Colorado Reunion uploaded routes ridden, it might be cool to see where everyone came from.

Obviously you've never been to advrider.com. Those guys spend more on electronic gizmos and gadgets per trip than I would on my entire beer budget for the decade. That's a lot of beer.  ;D

On the other hand, having a GPS near the end of your day, and you've succeeded in "getting lost", you'll find it handy in getting home.

I occasionally make fun of the GPS'rs, who seem to not be able to leave home without using one. My favorite story involves my niece, who was born and grew up in this area and had been to our home at least 6 times FROM her current house, called for directions because her GPS died. Don't get me wrong, I love the technology. Extremely valuable on a boat
