really, really nice shape. Has only 12K miles, previous owners went crazy with dealership tuneups and repairs . . . . all good for me

This is my first SOHC Honda. Previous owner upgraded all three calipers to twin piston types, had them powder coated as well. It has the stock exhaust, that has been ceramic coated. It has a $450 Corbin seat, etc, etc. I will be changing a lot of it though. I love the performance aspects of the F with the triple discs, etc, but am going to change it to a more vintage CB750 look. That's me, I make everything look older. I brought it home yesterday, so I tinkered a bit today. It had a lot of engine noise at idle. I adjusted the cam chain a couple times and got rid of any noise there. Only noise left is from the clutch at idle with the lever not pulled. Once the engine warms this rattle goes away. Is this normal? Or should I adjust the clutch tolerance with the lever not engaged? I tested the charging system and have over 14V at 3Krpms . .but at idle not much, if any, over battery voltage. is this normal for these bikes? I want to fit an older tank, side covers, a seat that works, older fenders, etc. I'm technically capable, but would listen to views from others who have done similar things, as the best parts to seek, etc.

I'm including a couple past bikes ( Harley I still own )that have had extensive modifications . .even if they don't look like it
