Carb Sync Port Screw Replacement (Nipple Type)
« on: March 15, 2017, 11:00:02 AM »
All,

Sadly, I have nearly stripped the threads in my #2 Carb Sync Port due to trying to bend the carb sync stick a little bit to make it fit better.

Therefore, I figure I have one chance to screw a screw in before it's stripped out before I have to buy a new set.

That said, I have more syncing to do!

If I remember correctly, there is a company that makes nipple type replacements for the cb750k carbs, so that I no longer need to screw anything in or out to sync the carbs. With these nifty things, you can simply take off the rubber cap and place the hose directly on them.

I figure I can kill two birds with one stone by using these, but I cannot find them anywhere; maybe I'm searching the wrong terminology?

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Thanks so much!
