There was a thread many months ago about a towing bike. I guess the guy who inveted them is a Swed.

Now I have another reason to get a Gold Wing with towing attachment.

Then I can just tow Harley's to shows

Better yet, you could tow your truck to the show with the bike and show up all those trailer queens!

Might know they'd use Gold WIngs, wonder what's next?

Considering the cost of a new Wing, bet those babies would be lots more expensive.

At least they didn't use GL1000 carbs, huh Kghost? Sorry you've had such a bad
experience with them.

They say, aside from a minimal lacking in power the bikes handle no different empty than loaded as they carry no weight, they pull it.

I think the point richard is for the bike to get thru traffic to the stranded vehicle.

Something not easily accomplished in tokyo traffic.

In an insane traffic jam a truck just can not make the trip. The bike can lane split as it was, and get to the stranded vehicle much faster. Relieving the traffic jam, while the truck waits behind all the crap traffic.

i knew the purpose for DOT use, i was referring to the people talking of private use towing trucks to bike rallies and such, I knew the practical use of the bike tow, i was being facetious

I can sure see where those "Haulin Wings" could be beneficial. I'd sure hate to have to pay
the price, but they are kinda neat. Unless high traffic has been experienced like in person, I don't
think some really know just how bad it can get. Those Wing should be able to get in most
anywhere. Wonder what their load capacity is (equivalent to today's midsized cars or trucks

)?

I don't know if that's Japan, it looks like it but the car plate in the last pic is definitely not a Japan license plate.

My coworker, who was stationed in Japan, said the same thing about the plates. He was also leaning towards those bikes being the chinese knock-offs.

I was thinking the same thing, and it looks Chinese. Was there just 4 months ago, and bseides that, in Japan they drive on the left side of the road. Notice the website name in the lower-left of the pics xcar.com.cn a Chinese website. The bike would look better if they got rid of those goofy "swan-wing" side panels. Reminds me of those old Coney Island rides.
