I was just whipping the one on the post and this is what I came up with. What does the "R" stand for ?

Whatever, just thought it was cool

Naturally I would switch up colors to make the match the would be paint

Tom, make the R smaller and put it inside the C.

The "R" in a small circle following a name usually indicates this is a registered trade mark.

It's Hnda's high performance version of their cars, Type R. Like the integra/Civic Type R, NSX type R, as opposed to LX, EX, SI, the R is the factory's racing effort. For the domestic guys think of it as Chevy's SS, Dodge's R/T, Ford's SVT.
But I guess it can relate to their bikes too. They started with the CB's and now they got CBR's.

Icky "R". Only one guy knew what it might mean. Maybe an "SS" or add a Honda wing coming off the top of the "C"... ? Just to add some movement. Could be a bad idea.

R is for "Racing". There is a CBR900R (crotch rocket), and a CBR900RR (Racing Replica, even more speed oriented). The higher the number of "R"'s, the more street cred you get

I used to ride a CBR900RR. It was a -94 with the Urban Tiger paint scheme. Gorgeous.....

Anyway, Honda´s code letter for -94 was R, so my registration for the bike read "Honda CBR 900 RR-R Fireblade".... Lots and lots of streetcred

Now see, when it's put in perspective, it works for me. In a case such as this, I vote for making it the same size as the other letters, but still red.

I thought the R was for Racing.
If I had to pick a letter just for the sake of it I'd pick X

And as far as design goes I think it looks cool ..
maybe make "cafe" and "500" different colors

the different ideas are great except that you guys are the only ones who would buy your designs, then I would not recover the $30 set up fee from my vinyl guy.
