Halfway there

Starting on the frame. 2 strokes have so much oil residue all over. Not a show piece, but a survivor.

Is that a Suzi?  Which model??

Good thing about the oil residue is it prevents rust.  Ever notice many two strokes still have original exhaust?!

Looks like a t250. I need to follow this as I have one waiting in the wings for some attention.

Sorry guys, being lazy again. It's a 1972 Suzuki t250. It was given to me. One pain, is all the wire sleeves are so brittle. This is being done on a budget. Trying to use as much as I can. I did get a 1973? Front end with it. The person who has one in the wings, I using the original front forks (drum brake) etc. if you need something, ask because that fork set is not too bad, wheel is good and is a disk brake set-up. Caliper and disk is decent. Set of cafe bars was with it. Have the controls on the bars, need rebuild thou.

I'm on the lookout so far for a nice set of ignition coils for it before I get started. I'll post up a pic sometime but it does look like this one, a 1971 in green.

Same problem with t250 as with our 750's, no supply of new exhausts.
