Many of us prefer the AGM battery, they are sealed, no chance of leaking acid on your bike.

Conventional is 12N12A-4A-1, now superseded by the YB12A-A that has some more cranking capacity. If you attach the tube, there's no leaking. I recently bought the Yuasa for € 37,-. For more info you may read: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=164124.0
