Been a long time since I had an active thread here.
Anyone else find EVERY excuse NOT to work on existing projects, and instead mess with new stuff?
I probably should be working on my CB/CR, but at this point it is stuck in the back of the garage.
It is also way to nice for me.

I should be putting the motor back in the chopper! BUT I live in a condo.....so I do not want to be kicked out!

Without question I should get back to my Seeley..... But....well....I got nothing here....

The Seeley first got bumped so that I could wrap up a Norton Commando (I went over to the dark side fairly hard....bought three Nortons in a few months)
The 850 was my daily rider and was a bunch of fun.
I had planed to sell it on and get back to working on the Hondas....but I just cant give the bike away!
Everyone calls it junk!

My girl was not a fan of the Norton. She MUCH preferred my old CB450.

SO I found a CL450 to replace the Norton with!
Spent some time getting it ready for the up coming season.
Should be fun.

But enough about all the stuff I SHOULD be messing with.
Lets mess with a nice clean CB500 project!

Pulled the carbs to make sure they were clean.
While they were clean, the O-Rings were hard and need to be replaced.

Bought a new battery and installed it.
Bike has a nice fat spark!
Things are shaping up well.
My favorite part of the bike is how freaking clean the pipes are!

Plan is to have another nice clean daily rider.
I am not one for bike shows.
Been a while since I have had a SOHC to ride regally.
Miss the turbine line ride.
