Cb550 4-4 Pipes, so which are better???????? early or later

Do the the newer 77 and later 4 into 4 Cb550 pipes preform better than the older 4 into 4 turkey shooter ones?

Who knows, you just cant get the 77/78 pipes and the frame mountings are different enough you have to butcher the rear brake pedal to mount them on an earlier bike anyway.
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

I just paid $100 for a nice set! The shift side fit fine, so I bought them!
