Wiring in cb400
« on: March 28, 2017, 04:40:21 PM »
Hi all... i got a project bike from a good neighbor.. its a 78 cb400t.  Runs great. I want to basically strip it down to only have essentials... head light and tail light... my question is... is there away to figure out what wires are only needed for those or is there a simple wire harness i can buy? I'm asking bc he has already stripped it down and now wires are a bit everywhere

The Honda Twins forum may be better served for that type of Info

I wasn't offering it as "wire per this" diagram, I was answering the question of "what minimal requirements" are needed. Wire colors and CDI will be different. Hopefully the OP is sharp enough to know that  ;)

Your inability to understand context is what's "wrong". What I wrote is, "...what you need to know" to imply the functional components needed. Whether they be electronic or mechanical, SOHC4 or T. The principles are the same.

You'd do better to trim your nose than poke it where its not appreciated.
