Opinions on $100 sets like dime city or $50 sets like Z1. Stainless spokes and nipples.

I bought a set of spokes from vintagecb750.com and am very pleased with them. Had 0 issues lacing them.

The $100 stainless spokes from dime city are Buchanan spokes which explains the price, I know because I ordered a set from dime city a few months ago for my current cb350 project. The cost for both front and rear was pricey but I wanted stainless and I had no issues lacing the rims either.

When I had my wheels re-done I got stainless Buchanan's. I can't remember what vendor I bought them from. It might have been DCC. They're nice for sure. Tons of threads about them on here. Can't say about other spokes, but I know there are some other decent ones out there. I think most would consider stainless Buchanan's tops for quality, etc. They definitely cost more.

I don't see any $50 stainless spokes from Z1?

Get stainless, worth the extra money unless you plan to flip the bike.  I recently bought some from Z1, they shipped from Buchanans!
