Project NH 750
« on: January 13, 2018, 06:35:31 PM »
Just picked up this very clean 1992 NH 750. PO states that it is not charging the battery. Stator? Other suggestions? Thanks Jim

Stev-o you were right. I got the bike home, battery wouldn't take a charge from my battery charger. Did display 12.5 volts. I jump started the bike, voltage ran up to about 13.2 at idle and 14.5 or so when revved to 3k. So it looks like charging system is ok. Took the bike for quick ride and it runs great. Time for some clean up and then to the sales lot(CL) in the spring. For $850 it is a lot of bike and in very good shape.

For the price of a battery you got a steal!  Bike looks super clean

CB- it is very clean, and will look better after I detail it. Only issue is some rust on the exhaust in the collection area. Surface rust only but needs to be addressed.
