That T500 race bike looks good enough to take for a few test rides on your local roads to me  ;D

Hi grcamna2 - My original plan for the Seeley frame was to make it very special road bike lol  8) .  Then I got to thinking I should give it go on track and re-live past glories.  Unfortunately I discovered I am no longer a 21 year old, and worse I no longer had the motivation (or skill) to throw it into corners on a wing and a prayer :D.  My buddy Gary May has taken it to several wins in the 500 Air Cooled class with the CRMC but engine issues meant we never got a season together.

Thanks Stev-o - Now at the stage I thought I would be 2 years ago so hoping we can get it all together for 2018.  After Gary recovers from planned surgery to fix previous racing injuries.  Now have the bike and the rider breaks down lol.

Hi ekpent - As and when we get out I'll keep you all up to date.  I would really like to take it to one of the continental classic meetings like Gedinne or Chimay.  What could be better than racing on a roads circuit and sampling all that Belgium beer (y)

Cheers  Geoff

Also I should plug my sponsor "Reality Motorworks" who sorted the frame paint and fixed the leaky tank.

Makes me want to get my little Suzi out on the road!

Bought this X6 last year, was barely running but overall, in pretty good cond.  The PO did some funky wiring and put a tiny [wrong] battery in it.  Straightened that all out and replaced the front tire which was causing the bike to bounce going down the road!  Also did a carb clean and a few little minor fixes and she is good to go.  Had her out yesterday, 60mph feels like you are flying!

Very cool. Glad to see you got it out stretching its legs with a minimal amount of work. Bet that is nice for you for a change ! I read where that size Suzie was one of your first bikes 'back in the day', correct Steve ?

Yes, I bought it as a runner, would have killed me if I had to do an engine rebuild.
It's a little doggy out of the hole, but above 3K RPM she sings! This bike has no timing advance system, never did, quite odd.

Good memory Eric. Yes, the X6 Hustler was my first real bike as a teen, after a Puch moped.

It was my older brother's bike and he lost interest after buying his first car, a '63 Ford Galaxy [352 V8 4 speed], so it was handed down to me, thankfully so!

I rode that X6 like crazy, it would do [an indicated] 100mph.
It also was red but had high pipes.
