Wow! I just read this thread start to finish, very nice work. I have to admit why would anybody build something like this, but the WTF factor has to be really cool when someone is checking it out.

On a side note the center stand spring......get a fist full of pennies, bend the spring and insert a penny between the coils. Then do the some thing on the opposite side, keep doing that to stretch the spring to a length that will allow you to put it in place. Then pull the coins out with a pair of pliers and you are good to go.

Lol, my favorite has been when someone on the road at a light says, "nice....... what is it???" I actually had to ditch the center stand, the chain did not clear it, so kick stand only.

Changed the tires from 90 90 18 front 100 90 18 rear, which felt mushy riding likely because they were too large for the rims. I picked up a set of the new avon streetriders am83 in 3.00 18. I contacted avon, and they directed me that even though a radial tire, perfectly fine to run a tube. I have to balance them yet, but as I'm waiting for the weights, I put them on to get a visual. I would have gotten the 2.75 front had it been available, but the 3.00 is perfectly fine. Bike got an altitude adjustment, and the rear tire gained a little clearance. I only rolled it around in the garage, but it felt way better just from that. Once the snow melts I will get photo and video up.

Jeff,
I like that  8) I think the bike has class and i enjoy the blue color quite a bit.

Do you have a link to where i can find that model Avon tires for my little CB125S w/ 18's and an XR200 engine ?
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'
I love the small ones too !
