No keys on a recent bike purchase.... Please help
« on: April 09, 2017, 12:47:39 PM »
Bought an old Honda C200 and theres no keys for it. Also when looking at the electrical diagram it shows that the switch should have 4-5 wires.... Mine only has two :/ Dont want to pay a lot for a replacement ignition switch if I could just use a basic aftermarket.

Go on ebay, many sellers for Honda keys. If its aHonda switch from back then,  it should have the number on it.

If it is a Honda ignition switch, it should have a letter and some numbers on the face of the lock.  Then email Mark Troxell at www.hondakeys.com those and my guess is that he will have a key.

I think my problem might also be that my ignition switch has two wires, one red and the other red/blue. The diagram shows more :/

You might have an aftermarket switch already. Does the OEM switch have a park setting? Does yours?
