High mileage Hondamatics
« on: April 11, 2017, 01:42:01 PM »
So, my 1976-750a has 48000 miles and I bought it with a toasted top end. I am getting the top end redone and now I am getting a sick feeling that I should have the case split to see what is going on down below. Am I crazy not to tear it all down?
I just have this feeling there is more money to be suctioned from my wallet!

Clutch packs don't last forever. Good time for replacing when rebuilding anyway. Use the 70's Honda Civic parts which interchange with the Hondamatics. The count of friction and steel discs are not the same between the two vehicles.
