CB 750 Four K2 from Sweden
« on: February 27, 2017, 10:15:02 AM »
Hello , a new member from Sweden . I have a CB 750 Four K2 from 1973 . When i bought it 1987 it was converted to 836 cc and was running really good and was a fast bike but it was in some kind a of "chopper" style with long forklegs , Marlon Brando handlebars and long seat . Now 30 years later i´m starting to convert it into a more orginal style or mayby into a cafe-racer , i`m not sure . It had dropped out of registration a long time ago but i have the old orginal registriation and owner paper in my name so it´s now in the legal process of being street legal again . I shall go over the engine and the rest of the bike , the front brake are stocked for exampel and also the electrics needs to have some new wiring done ... I want to join this forum to get and exchange information and inspiration on my Honda "restore" I´ve been into bikes fore more than 35 years now with dirtbikes on and off , Husqvarna 125 WR 1981 in the early eighties and a pair of Suzuki RM 465 1982 vintage dirtbikes now recently . My first "heavy" bike was a Kawasaki Z1 900 1975 that i drove for more than 15 years before i sold it to a friend (to cheap) . In 1992 i bought my first Harley , a FLH 1200 Shovelhead from 1977 that i still have and enjoy driving around . I have also started a build up with a 1523 cc Shovelhead that will be a Kustom bike with a rigid frame some day , it´s no hurry . Take care until next time / Kent.
