Institute Hammurabi's Code for Forum Rule Breakers

This is my suggestion.

First infraction equals one broken keyboarding finger.

Second infraction equals one broken hand.

Third infraction equals removal of one hand.

Fourth infraction: we take away your CB. ;D

I like your gameplan.

EDIT: Contents of PM removed.  Please don't post these (see Forum Rules).  Steve.

ProTeal, I think you are man enough to take a bit of abuse, so I think that would only require a slight tweaking of a testicle.

And what brought this on?

I bring this up because the forum rules are being broken and/or ignored.  I joined this forum to meet, correspond, and share ideas with people who share a similar passion.  However, over the last few months, I see members picking fights.  These same members have been warned and they know the rules, but continue to "raise hell".

My latest post was both a plea to help end the unnecessary "hate" and a try at a little humor.  But, the loss of a few fingers might be the only solution that may work for some offenders.

Forum Rules do get broken every now and then, but we rely on other members reporting the threads to make sure that we are not merely imposing our prejudices on everyone else.

Offenders are warned via PM from the Mods.

Persistent offenders are banned for two weeks.

Persistent offenders who argue with the Mods and carry on anyway are banned for good.

That would certainly modify the message, Sparty :)

 >well, I have a photoshopped pic someone giving the one-fingered salute, with the middle finger amputated,  but I don't seem to be able to post it.... :-\ :)   was a better story with the pic  ::)

no no RM, it was about members, who for some reason, need to give the rest of us 'the finger'.   But you must be feeling guilty about something  ;) :D 8)
