Chain Question
« on: April 15, 2017, 04:55:39 PM »
Not sure what to order to fit these sprockets. I had a chain that came with the bike all rolled up uninstalled. I put the front sprocket on today the P O gave me with the bike.
The teeth are way to big and far apart for the chain to sit in the teeth. The front sprocket has the number 14 on it. What do I order to get the proper chain for these sprockets?
I don't know crap about chain and sprocket combos. Always ran what was on the bike. Any help is appreciated.

My guess would be a 530. Get a 120 link 530 chain, and you'll have to shorten it. It's an easy process. Grind down a pin and punch it out

Later models used a 630 chain. Looks like you are trying to put a 530 chain on 630 sprockets. Any numbers on the side plates of the chain?
