At least there's room to work on the engine without taking it out of the frame!

Looks like it doesn't have carbs installed.

I've got the best part of a 38 Chief sitting in my garage right next to my F1.  I never thought of combining the two.

I don't want it to go like a motorcycle, I want it to go like a rocket!

Sorry to disagree... but I think it's a pretty cool looking little cruiser. Who knew Honda 750 SOHC = Chevy sb 350 ?!?

Simply put, it is the ugliest custom bike I've ever seen. A Chief is a Chief, and a CB750 is a CB750. If you want a Chief, buy a Chief. If you want a custom bike, make your own.

Well I like that "indian" bike, a lot. I saw one just like it in the 1970's in an Iron Horse magazine, before they became a pseudo Harley mag, but who-ever is building this one is quite smart, there's probably not one Indian part on it, it's just the valanced fenders that give it that look, the rest is just your average custom catalogue parts.

It just goes to show that the CB750 engine is the most beautiful, most practical, most versatile across the frame four ever built! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Pretty cool. I prefer a CB750 engine on a BSA Rocket III frame, it's almost a perfect fit.

I remember seeing an magazine article where a guy put a SOHC CB750 engine in a BSA Rocket III frame because his original BSA engine just wasn't reliable enough. With a reliability of the CB750 engine and a great handling of a BSA frame, that bike must've been a sleeper. It was enough that I started to look for an affordable BSA frame. I can't remember what title or what issue that article came from because I have too many magazines piled up.

It's a little late to "butt in" here, if anyone wants to know that article on the BSA/HONDA Rocket Four was from issue #69 Old Bike Journal. Very nicely done.

A cross reference of the location of the seller came up with Dr. Moreau's Island.  Whereever that is...
