Broken "thumbturn" of petcock CB350f
« on: April 17, 2017, 01:37:07 PM »
Hi Guys,

I'm pretty new to this. I have a 73 CB350F that doesn't run, but should this weekend once I finish my carb cleaning. The petcock is not leaking or anything, but it does have a broken "thumbturn" portion. I need to use pliers to adjust it from off/on/reserve. Not a really big deal but I would like to have one in good shape.

It is proving to be difficult to find a complete petcock to replace the one I have. I believe the CB350F has an odd petcock compared to most other bikes. I don't see anything on 4into1 that resembles the petcock that I have. Do you know if any other bikes share the same thumbturn portion, so that I can swap that piece into my petcock? Thank you.

I probably have one from a parts petcock but shipping to Canada is lengthy and expensive, even for a part that small.

this petcock will replace the CB350f petcock. You will need to combine the 2 outlets of this petcock to 1 outlet for your bike, but the parts are all linked right on the web page...http://4into1.com/reproduction-fuel-valve-petcock-16950-300-020-honda-cb350f-cb500k-cb550k-cb750k/

Ahhh thanks dprime. That makes sense. I was trying to find one with the single outlet. That's too bad that they don't make a replacement one with the single outlet.

Scott S, I do have shipping address in Blaine, Washington if you do find a spare. It is only a 20 minute drive for me to go pick up at my shipping place. I will gladly pay for shipping and for the part if you find something.

Evinrude7, that one looks different than mine. Mine has a side exit on the fuel line, and it attaches to the tank differently.
