Cb350f start button wire PITA
« on: April 18, 2017, 05:03:18 PM »
Switching handlebars, broke the red/yellow wire to the start button inside the switch. Can't get the screw holding the contact plate loose. Hit it with penetrating oil, but afraid of stripping it.

Anyone deal with this before?

The r/y wire is soldered to the push-button contact, I need to get in there and re-solder, but can't get these damn screws to budge!

Any tips on reattaching the wire?

Mission accomplished. Ordered a nice JIS driver on amazon, changed my #$%*ing life.

Brake lever assembly really gets crammed in with the 400f bars, but seems to just barely fit.
