newbie with '78 750F SS

Few years back a buddy told me about the cafe bikes, and fast forward a few and I have an 750 aero, and to keep from tinkering with it any more I just bought a snotty 78 750 SS.  Looks like trash and needs lots of work and I hope to pick ya'lls brains for info as I imagine i'll be busy getting it into proper and safe order for around a year, but hope to get it runnin ASAP as I need to hear it and I don't like pushing it around. Oh, i'm in stockton california for those that care....HOWDY!

Welcome, Red!  I think there's a fair chance that your '78 will keep you too busy to do much wrenching on your Aero. ;)

Be advised that a discussion of the virtues of the '78 750 is soon to follow below. ;)

red_haint,

Welcome to the forum from another 78 F3 Super Sport owner... I too have much to do to my bike this winter. All elective, but it should turn out great!

I also have an F3 and have went thru every nut and bolt this winter. I may be able to help with any questions.
