M-unit question
« on: April 28, 2017, 06:28:01 PM »
I've just acquired a BMW K100 RT.  It's another basket case.  It will need new wires and due to my recent experience with the m-unit I'm planning on using it again.  Question I have is, is the m-unit compatible with fuel injected bikes?  I'm pretty sure that would be an aux plug in, just making sure.

Regards,
Dale

Yes, it will support the K-RT. Correct, power the FI through AUX. Later BMW's (and many others) use CAN bus, and that is also supported with the M-Unit

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
