PCV Smoke

How much smoke is normal coming out of pvc tube? Freshly bored cb750 bored out to 836. Plugs look normal... 80 miles on engine

White smoke of blue smoke? If you run it real hot in stop and go situations, then it will pump a bit of whiteness out at idle and more when you wick the throttle. If it's blue smoke then you have combustion gases going past the pistons into the crankcase.

White smoke. 20 miles to town, sat down and ate, stop and go around town after and 20 miles back

Sounds normal, just crank case gases, if it's just open to atmosphere it can be quite noticeable in colder temps. If I'm not mistaken, the weight and type of oil can affect it slightly. Also the smell of normal gases is very distinct, if it smells like gasoline or burning oil; then you have more of a problem.

It magically goes away if you put a K8 re-breather on it  ;)
'78 750K (F3 engine) PD42b's, Modified airbox w/K&N  filter, 40/110 jets, 1 needle shim, IMS@ 1 turn out. Kerker + Cone 18" QuietCore
