Hey guys, back at it again with the 1982 CB750C. I've been learning my way through the bike (the wiring was a mess, turn signals, new battery and solenoid, signal relay, ect.)
So I did an oil change and all seemed well, ran it for about a day with no issues, but today I noticed a significant leak where the clutch cable goes down towards the clutch, right where it connects; you pull the lever on the handlebars and it moves up and down right on the side of the clutch cover. It's leaking a decent amount and caused quite a bit of smoking on my exhaust wraps. I'm not too quite sure why it's leaking now, as I've just dealt with my oil filter leaking after an oil change. Is there supposed to be an O ring on there? How do you go abouts fixing it? Is there a part number or something for any o-rings or sealant or a gasket? I checked Ebay and Vintagecb750 with no luck in location what it might be.
(I've attached a picture of where I'm 89.67% sure it's leaking from.)
Thanks again for your knowledge and assistance!
