Heard this about an hour ago, what a loss, he had a brilliant voice, Cornell, Staley and Cobain, grunge is truly dead...!!

I just saw this too. I hope it's a hoax. Not only did I love sound garden, but I really liked his solo work as well. Audioslave.... not so much.

Yeah, one of the best rock voices ever, i don't know what to believe but I'd be happier if it is a hoax...#$%*ing internet...!!!

Pretty sure that, originally, Chris played with this song as a bit of a goof but then he ended up saying that, lyrically, it was a remarkable song.

went back and listened to lots of old stuff...lot of memories tied up with Soundgarden, especially the BadMotorFinger lp.  That was some kinda bad ass #$%*.  RIP Chris Cornell.
