Just heard the sad news, I as a huge fan and saw Soundgarden in concert.

Heard this about an hour ago, what a loss, he had a brilliant voice, Cornell, Staley and Cobain, grunge is truly dead...!!

Yeah, one of the best rock voices ever, i don't know what to believe but I'd be happier if it is a hoax...#$%*ing internet...!!!

went back and listened to lots of old stuff...lot of memories tied up with Soundgarden, especially the BadMotorFinger lp.  That was some kinda bad ass #$%*.  RIP Chris Cornell.
