The crummy thing is that you can tune the EFI on most Hondas, Yamahas, Kawasakis, Ducatis, etc.  Honda just decided to stick it to the customer with this bike.  When you do try to do it, it goes into limp mode.

Guess they didn't want anybody turning the bike into an unassuming little sleeper.

Oh well, lectron carbs will fix that.

I thought someone finally solved this issue. I know the bike magazines were tearing their hair out trying to figure out how to do it, but eventually it did get solved. That said, I didn't take the time to do an internet search to find out.
