When I rebuilt the forks, I was well over a year from running the bike, so I just put some oil in to keep things lubricated, planning to drain before I'd put oil in for damping.
So, getting ready to ride the bike, I figured I'd check the level in my Clymer's manual -- I let out an audible laugh when I saw it essentially said "if there's no leaks, and it feels OK, it's probably OK" (heavily paraphrased, of course)
It has OZ measurements, but I'm used to "Xmm from the top" measurements, and have a purpose made motion pro tool for the job.
Is there a spec, or do I have to guess if the OZ measurement in the book is a 'fresh rebuild' or 'drain and fill' spec?
