Hello everyone,welcome to my build.I am completely new to the world of vintage bikes so bear with me.I've been riding bikes for 10 years but only at the track,I have not ridden in the street during that time almost at all.I will probably be asking tons of questions and making tons of mistakes to it should be quite entertaining.I purchased the bike of a guy on ebay who put the bike together to this point himself and lost intrest.As far as I know the bike sat for over a year or more.The bike did not start when I bought it,obviously the price came down a bunch after that.The motor is from another bike,I was told.What a mess,huh?I will be probably scrap everything he has done.so for since my vision is different from his.The bike has no wiring,other then some wires running to the ignition so you can jump it.I checked the compression but didnt open the throttle so I got about 90psi across cold.Then I jumped it and ran it,making my first mistake and that was running it without any exhaust.This time I got 120 psi across.Currently I am contemplating the build and making a plan but first things first I will rewire the bike get it to start and run pr operely.
