Thanks for the welcome. Basically all of my original parts from the wreck walked off when I moved, including the harness. So I’m starting from scratch. I have all Motogadget goodies, all the wire I need, and weatherpack connectors. So just a really simple custom harness.

I’ve wired a lot of vehicles in my day, I actually love doing it. To answer your question, I have not technically started yet lol.

You should document how you mount up the fairing. not enough pics online of how to do that with out of the box parts.

I will definitely be thorough, However I believe the kit to be complete. Including the frame for mounting. I expect just minor modifications. I ordered mine without a headlight opening, and matte finish.

Yeah I kind of fell in love. Really the finishing touch on my bike I think. Two versions  available, small and a large. I obviously got the larger of the two.

If you've never used the motogadget button switches, you may "try" out with gloved hands.  I've heard more than a few people complain about their small size and feel (you don't want to have to fumble around for a button or have to look down).  Motone makes larger switches as to a few other vendors -- if you think they are too small.

Well thanks to BenelliSEI, I have a proper race oil tank, and cooler kit from his Rickman project. The cap location should line up with my seat perfectly! I’m trying to figure out shipping for his engine, I want it!

I'll second that...
About a year ago I built a bike for a customer, and he chose those same Motogadget switches.  They were "ok" bare handed but not so much with even thin gloves.

Cool Build!  you may look at member Messnermoto's switches....I dont have any issue using them with leather gloves.

After taking the advice of the members above, I mounted the switch. I then pulled out my thickest gauntlet leather glove. Like most things on a motorcycle, it comes down to personal feel, and taste. For me, these are perfect. I can feel the contours through the glove, and actuate the switch perfectly!
